Unique Tulipan pendant designed in Austria (Vienna) by Kalmar in about 1960. This large pendant lamp is made of a white ceiling plate and a nickel frame with below 162 blown glass elements suspended on tiny chains. The glass of the Tulipan chalices contains tiny air bubbles. The chalices are stacked and connected in one another with little chains. Because of there special construction and air bubbles in the glass, this lamp provides a beautiful light effect. The lamp contains four normal screw bulb holders, also suitable for a CFL or LED bulbs. We have had contact with the company Kalmar and this lamp is only made one. A unique lamp that will release many a conversation at sight. It will be delivered with several spare chalices.
European lights are suitable for use in the USA by 110 volt; the cable wiring is thicker because of the 220 voltage in Europe and therefore fits for use in the USA. Lights with a European plug can be used in the USA by changing the plug or using a holiday converter.
