Vintage Dyrlund Extendable Teak Dining Table, 1960s – Danish Craftsmanship

Solid teak dining table by Dyrlund, made in Denmark in the 1960s. Extendable from 130 to 175 cm – suitable for 4 to 8 people.

This Scandinavian teak dining table was produced by Dyrlund and features a refined Danish design with rounded corners and recessed adjustable feet. Made entirely from solid teak with a warm, oiled finish, it consists of two parts with an integrated extension leaf stored underneath the top. When closed, the table measures 130 cm; when extended, it reaches 175 cm. H x W X D 73 x 130-175 x 90. The piece is marked with the Dyrlund logo, as shown in the photos.

The condition of this pre-loved table is very good. The top and extension leaf have been professionally sanded and re-oiled, resulting in a smooth and even surface, free of stains or rings. The oil finish highlights the natural beauty of the wood and allows for easy surface maintenance by the owner. The extension mechanism functions smoothly, and the structure is stable. This particular table is signed by the designer on both the top and bottom of the table (double signature). Mouth-blown Pendant Lamp Model L4233 by Glashütte Limburg, 1970s – Cloudy Opal Glass and Brass Fixture

Mouth-blown pendant lamp model L4233 by Glashütte Limburg, made in the 1970s. This unique trumpet-shaped pendant lamp is made from cloudy opal glass, creating a subtle structure in the glass that becomes more apparent when the lamp is lit (see photos). The mouth-blown production process makes each lamp unique. The lamp radiates craftsmanship and elegance in its design and finish, with a brass fixture that perfectly complements the overall look. This lamp is a timeless light object and suitable for both modern and classic interiors. In the Netherlands, Glashütte Limburg lamps were sold by Hagoort lamps (see photo from the Hagoort catalog). This mouth-blown pendant lamp L4233 is still in excellent vintage condition. The opal glass shows no chips, and the wiring has been recently checked by an electrician. The glass has no chips, and it is still in its original condition.

Sofa bed BR 53 9 by Martin Visser for ‘t Spectrum, 1960 – Black Frame, Orange-Brown Upholstery

Martin Visser sofa bed, model BR 53 9, was designed in 1960 for ‘t Spectrum and has since become an icon of Dutch Mid-Century design. This original 1960s version has a sleek black square tube frame and has recently been completely reupholstered in orange-brown Keymer Rocks fabric (no 50). The seat can be pulled forward in one smooth movement, creating a comfortable single bed. Pendant Lamp 486a by Paolo Venini for Venini Murano, 1962 – Orange Glass, Rare

Murano pendant lamp Venini, model 486a, was designed in 1962 by Paolo Venini for Venini & C. on the Italian island of Murano, world-renowned for its glassblowing tradition. This mouth-blown lamp is finished in orange glass with a white inner layer, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. It comes directly from the old stock of the Dutch lighting company Indoor, which imported high-end Italian lamps in the 1960s. Floor Lamp ST84 by Johan Niegeman for Artiforte, 1957 – First Edition, White-Grey, Modernist Design

Artiforte floor lamp Niegeman, model ST84, was designed in 1957 by Johan Niegeman (1902–1977) for the Rotterdam-based brand Artiforte. This first edition from the 1950s is finished in white and light grey powder-coated metal with a black metal base and is regarded as a prime example of modernist lighting design. Each piece was handcrafted and, at the time, this was one of Artiforte’s most expensive lamps, produced in very small numbers. The design was highly innovative and received awards at the Triennale in Milan (1957) and the World Expo in Brussels (1958). The perspex diffuser emits a warm and even light. Depending on how it’s positioned, it provides either indirect light against the wall or direct light through the diffuser. Dimensions: h × w × d = 162 × 11 × 25 cm. Materials: metal, perspex. The lamp is in very good original condition, with only minor signs of use on the base, appropriate for its age. The original fluorescent tube has been replaced with an energy-efficient Philips LED tube (T8 CorePro 15.5 W/830) in a warm tone. The original TL tube is included if desired. The wiring has been checked. This rare piece is part of the collection of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and is considered a true collector’s item.

The Royal wall unit by Poul Cadovius, designed in the 1960s for Cado Denmark, is an icon of Danish functional design. This floating wall system is made of teak veneer and consists of four wall uprights (175 cm high), two cabinets with sliding wooden doors (h × w × d = 34 × 80 × 30 cm), and seven shelves in three different depths. The configuration shown in the photos measures h × w × d = 190 × 244 × 30 cm. The system comes complete with original metal mounting brackets.
