Teak Highboard by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, 1959 – Japanese Series
€ 0
incl. VAT (if applicable) according to margin schemeHigh sideboard from the Cu series, also called Japanese series, designed by Cees Braakman for UMS-Pastoe in 1958. This is the largest version from this series. I quote from the Pastoe catalogue “Pastoe can solve even the biggest storage problems for you, as you can see, it takes a lot to fill such a high sideboard”. The hand of Cees Braakman can be recognized by the thin black metal legs and the recessed black door handles. This cabinet consists of a desk, below it four drawers and on the right side a double cabinet with shelves. Material: wood, teak veneer, white lacquer and Formica on a black metal base. The cabinet has been fully checked and oiled by us. The condition is still very good original condition with light wear and traces of use (see photos). Dimensions: h x w x d = 118 x 226 x 45 cm, height desktop 74 cm. Marked: Pastoe (see photos). Source: Pastoe photo pocket catalogue 1962 page 33.
