€ 3.650
incl. VAT (if applicable) according to margin schemeLarge Fristho sideboard (model VDJ-245) designed by Kurt Gunther and Horst Brechtmann for Fristho in 1961. Fristho made furniture that was exclusive, refined and with a rich use of materials. This sideboard stands out with its beautiful rosewood wood grain structure, the metal strip along the edge of the top, the beautiful minimalist (chromed) base and its width of 243 cm. The sideboard has four doors with shelves behind three of them, providing plenty of storage space. There are three drawers behind the right door (see photo). The original black glass (bar) shelf is also still present, making it possible to convert the left sideboard into a bar/beverage cabinet. The inside is veneered with birch veneer. The sideboard is in good condition (see photos) with some minor signs of use; small pieces of veneer damage and some discolouration. The top has been sanded and waxed. Dimensions: h x w x d = 73 x 243 x 45 cm. Marked: Fristho, made in Holland. Source: Book Fristho, progressive furniture 1921-1978 by Bert Looper, page 63.
