Modulus Sideboard by William Watting for Fristho in ca 1950s
Fristho sideboard “Modulus” designed by William Watting in ca 1956. This rare teak sideboard comes from the period that Fristho started making more Scandinavian mid-century modern furniture under the influence of Willian Watting and the duo Kho Liang Ie and Wim Crouwel. The brass edges / corners and legs are special about this sideboard. Considering its age still in good condition, normal traces of use and wear (see photos). Marked: Fristho, Modulus.
