Coloured glass wall lamp made with glass appliqué at van Tetterode Glass Studio, Amsterdam in ca. 1960. The coloured layers of glass “glass appliqué” create a beautiful light effect. Floris van Tetterode founded the Glass Industry Van Tetterode in 1925. He experiments with a new one technique: bonding glass “glass appliqué” using a special primer, which bonds the layers of coloured / cracked / molten glass well together, creating a relief. Material: glass and metal Dimensions: h x w x d = 28 x 27 x 10 Well-known artists such as Appel and Corneille have asked Van Tetterode Glass in Amsterdam to make artworks.
