Mid-century clamp lamp designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for Jieldé, 1950s. This version is from the 1960s; an industrial design classic from France originally designed as a workbench lamp. The adjustment joints contain sliding contacts where the current flows. This allows the lamp to be infinitely adjusted without the risk of wire breakage. This also makes it possible to make the lamp longer or shorter by placing an arm in between or removing an arm. The condition is still good and original with normal signs of use and wear to the paint. The wiring has been checked by an electrician. Dimensions: h x w x d = 80 x 66 x 23 cm, maximum length 110 cm. Marked: Jieldé, made in France.
