Birds Birds Birds Chandelier by Ingo Maurer, 1992
Large Birds Birds Birds chandelier designed by Ingo Maurer (born 1932) for Ingo Maurer lamps in 1992. Birds Birds Birds is the proto-type of the Birds collection by Ingo Maurer and with a total height of 190 cm especially suitable for large, generous rooms with high ceilings. With 24 low voltage lamps 24 V / 15 W and goose feather wings, this chandelier becomes an extraordinary design lamp. The individual wires can be turned, bent and shaped in any desired way you like.
Dimensions: h x w = 190 x 120 cm. The ceiling plate has a diameter of 30 cm and contains an (integrated) transformer of 230 / 24V. The lamp can be hung directly on the ceiling or freely in the room by means of a chain. Material: aluminium and plastic. Colours: (cable) red, blue and metal colour and the wings are white. This lamp can optionally be dimmed with a tronic dimmer (external). This lamp is still for sale and costs new between 3900 and 4600 euros.
