This floor lamp is converted from 1000 W to 500 W (by a skilled electrician). The lamp has new dimmer and a new halogen bulb of 500 W. Because of this the electric wiring is like new. Material: Marble, iron (chrome) and white aluminum. The dimensions of the Marble base are: h x w x d = 45 x 17 x 17 cm. Slight discoloration on the bottom of the shade.
Bruno Gecchelin (graduated in architecture at the University of Milan) was born in Milan in 1939. In 1962 he joined the Olivetti design studio, directed by Ettore Sottsass. In 1976 he opened his own studio. He designs furniture, decorative objects, lighting fixtures and works for major brands such as: Fiat, Metaform, O-Luce, Skipper, Arteluce Flos, Anton Angeli, Venini, Matsushita, Tronconi, iGuzzini lighting, Ivela, and Reggiani Lighting. Through his work he has won several major international awards.
