Mid Century Armchair by Gelderland Design Team for Gelderland, 1950s

Easy chair with model 2280 with coromandel wooden armrests, designed by the Gelderland design team (including Rob Parry) for the Dutch company Furniture industry Gelderland in 1959. This armchair is beautiful because of its simplicity; thin metal frame with coromandel wooden armrests that seem to float. The condition is very good again with normal signs of use and wear for its age; it has been reupholstered with beautiful green fabric and the connections have been checked. Dimensions: h x w x d = 73 x 65 x 82 cm and the seat height is 38 cm. Material: metal, wood, foam and fabric. Source: Dutch Magazine Goed Wonen, 1959, 1960.
