Pair of black Joker lounge chairs designed by Olivier Mourgue for Airborne International in the 1960s. The condition of the frame is still good with normal normal signs of use and wear (see photo’s). These comfortable lounge chairs are re-upholstered with beautiful black leather and new foam. Material: Black leather and a chromed metal frame. Industrial designer Olivier Mourgue (1939, Paris) studied interior design and furniture design in Paris. He then followed further education and training in Finland and Sweden where he worked for Maurice Holland, Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm. He is well known for his furniture designs, but he is also a painter and landscape designer. In 1976 he became a professor at the school of fine arts in Brest (France).
