Royal System by Poul Cadovius for Cado, 1960s – 3-Piece Teak Wall System with Secretaire

Poul Cadovius Royal system, designed in the 1960s for Cado Denmark; a modular wall system that became an icon within Mid-Century design. This 3-piece version in teak consists of four wall slats (2 x 224 cm, 2 x 202 cm), four cabinet modules and eight bookshelves in two depths. One of the cupboards is a secretaire, with a flap, key and shelf – ideal as a compact workstation or storage unit. The system can be arranged as you wish. Overall dimensions: h x w x d = 224 x 244 x 42.5 cm. A complete and functional Danish wall cabinet in original condition. One cabinet is marked: Royal System – Design Poul Cadovius.

– 4 wall slats: 2 × 224 cm and 2 × 202 cm.
– 1 storage cabinet with sliding doors: h x w x d = 57 × 80 × 24 cm
– 1 secretaire cabinet (with flap and key): h x w x d = 42 × 80 × 37.5 cm

The system is in good condition, with normal signs of use appropriate to its age. One cabinet shows light circles, and some veneer repairs have been made. All original metal hanging brackets are present.

Safe delivery of your products starts with proper protective packaging. We use bubble wrap, cardboard, tape and packing polythene. Corners and fragile parts are protected with cardboard. T0 make sure the products are stable in the cardboard box, we use foam or air cushions. If we have to disassemble the products, we will provide a manual for easier assembling.
We only work with reliable shipping partners, fully equipped regarding the specific shipment task. If something might go wrong during transport, we will take responsibility.
10% DISCOUNT AT PICKUP When you choose to collect your order, you get a 10% discount, because it saves us packing and shipping. Another advantage is that you can inspect your purchase in real life and take the item with you when you like it. Most of the time we are in the store. Please let us know in advance on the order form, email or telephone. On Friday and Saturday between 13:30 and 17:00 we are in the warehouse. Check our website for exceptions. Once we know that you will visit, we reserve your purchase, usually three days. Please let us know if you want us to keep the item for a longer period of time. FREE SHIPMENT WITHIN THE NETHERLANDS AND TO ANTWERP, BRUSSELS, PARIS and BERLIN Shipment is for free within the Netherlands and to Antwerp, Brussels, Paris and Berlin. Postal packages within the EU are included in the webshop prices as well. If the items you choose are too big for a postal package, we can make you a custom quote. That is also the case for shipment outside the EU, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs will be calculated during the ordering process in our webshop. If the shipping costs can't be calculated online (yet), you can choose to request a custom quote. We will let you know the shipping costs as soon as possible. If you have specific wishes regarding the delivery of bigger items, like express delivery of the second floor, it is possible that we quote additional costs. If you might not be satisfied with your purchase, you will receive a full refund, but the return costs are for your account. Return within 14 days of receipt.
MARGIN SCHEME, VAT AND EXPORT
All prices in the webshop are in euros and include VAT (where applicable). Ztijl normally applies the margin scheme. This is a special VAT regulation that applies, among other things, to used goods. Under this scheme VAT is included in the price but is not stated separately on the invoice.
For private and business customers outside the European Union we use the same prices. As compensation we do not charge additional payment or handling fees.
Do you have a business with the right to reclaim VAT? In that case we can provide a quotation or invoice with regular VAT on request. For businesses within the EU (but outside the Netherlands) we can issue an invoice with 0% VAT when a valid VAT number is provided. An intra-Community supply is generally only possible when the item is shipped.
