5600 Cabinet by Andre Cordemeyer for Gispen, 1950s

Gispen storage unit from the 5600 series designed by Andre Cordemeyer for Gispen in 1959. A timeless and industrial piece that can be used as storage furniture, bookcase, display cabinet and more. The first version was called model 663 and was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954. Andre Cordemeyer improved the 663 to the 5600 system in 1959. The condition of this cabinet is still good with normal signs of use and wear (see pictures). It has been completely disassembled, checked and cleaned. This cabinet has two storage cabinets with drop down door, three large drawers, one small drawer, display cabinet and various (book) shelves. The cabinet can be dismantled and, if desired, can be easily rearranged according to your own choice. Colours: white, red, grey and light grey. Dimensions: h x w x d = 137 x 146.5 x 36 cm.
