Oregon pine wood sideboard by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, ca. 1970. Oregon pine wood comes from the Canadese- and US west coast and was not often used by Pastoe. The Oregon pine gives a nice contrast with the white doors and drawers. The inside of the drawers are made of bent plywood (in teak), here you can clearly see the hand of Cees Braakman. This sideboard has plenty of storage space (see photos), two cabinets with shelves, four drawers and the original door handles. The oregon pine has been sanded and varnished and therefore has a beautiful color again (see photos). Measurements: h x w x d = 72 x 221 x 44 cm. Marked: Pastoe.
