Unique multi-coloured coffee table in warm colours designed and made by Paul Kingma in 1978. The playful combination of materials and warm colours creates a work of mosaic art. Despite the use of hard materials, the robust handmade coffee table still has a calm and warm appearance. The base is made of black bent iron and the top of natural stone, ceramic, pebbles and brass in various colours inlaid in concrete. The condition is still very good and original with slight signs of use and wear. Dimensions: h x w x d = 32 x 120 x 76 cm. Marked in its own unique way: KINGMA – 1978 (see photos).

Paul Kingma Coffee Table, 1970s | Round, Multi Colored (kopie)

Beautiful multi colored Paul Kingma coffee table designed and made by Sculptor Paul Kingma in the 1970s. This table is striking in colour and composition. The foot is made of iron (black) and the tabletop is made of natural stone, ceramic (in different colours) and bronze inlayed in concrete. Due to the playful combination of materials is created as it were a mosaic work of art. Marked: Kingma (see pictures). These robust tables provide despite the heavy materials still a peaceful and warm look and feel.

Supporto office chair by Frederick Scott for Hille international, 1970s

Supporto office chair ‘Task chair’ designed by Frederick Scott, England for Hille in 1976. This chair immediately received national and international acclaim and won the Design Council’s Design Award. For this design, Fred Scott did detailed ergonomic studies on how people actually sit. The chair (commissioned by Hille) had to be easy to use, easy to clean and long-lasting. Both the backrest and seat height are adjustable. The condition of the office chair is still good with normal signs of use and wear (see photos). The upholstery has been renewed fairly recently, but shows some where the fabric has been glued. (see photos). Material: aluminium, metal and fabric. Dimensions: h x w x d = 91 x 58 x 55 cm and the seat height is adjustable from 47 – 57 cm. Marked; Hille (see photos).

Rare Italian cube lamp by Lamperti Robbiate from the 1970s. This lamp is very nicely made and gives a nice light effect due to the thick glass. The condition is still very good and original. The lamp has a normal E27 fitting, making it suitable for incandescent, halogen and LED bulbs. Material: plastic and thick glass. Colour: orange and transparent. Pilastro wall system designed by Tjerk Reijenga for C.V. Reijenga’s Apparatenbouw, Amsterdam in 1957. Beautiful in its simplicity, this Pilastro wall unit was touted as a piece of furniture with 1001 possibilities and which could be divided or extended according to your own choice. This elaborate wall unit is from the early 1960s and consists of a cabinet with two sliding doors h x w x d = 37.5 x 73 x 30 cm, a shelf with a wide drawer h x w x d = 9 x 73 x 27 cm, a desk b x d = 73 x 46 cm, a perforated basket h x w x d = 7 x 73 x 15 cm , a light box (with two E27 fittings and a push switch) dimensions: h x w x d = 8.5 x 73 x 12 cm, two 73 x 27 cm shelves, two 73 x 20 cm shelves and two 73 x 13 cm shelves, and various fixing and wall brackets. Material: powder-coated iron in black, white, blue and green. Wall unit dimensions: h x w x d = 175 x 150 x 46 cm. Pilastro wall system & bookcase designed by Tjerk Reijenga for C.V. Reijenga’s Apparatenbouw, Amsterdam in 1957. Beautiful in its simplicity, this Pilastro wall rack was touted as a piece of furniture with 1001 possibilities and which could be divided or extended according to your own choice. This wall system is from the early 1960s and consists of five 73 x 20 cm shelves and various fixing and wall brackets. Material: powder-coated iron in white and black. Dimensions: h x w x d = 125 x 76 x 21 cm. The condition is still good with normal signs of use, small dents, paint damage and/or scratches (see photos). Seventies Italian Stilnovo Table Lamp by Artimeta (kopie)

Seventies Italian Stilnono table or desk lamp manufactured at Stilnovo for Artimeta. The Dutch lighting company Artimeta made and imported luxury fixtures of high quality. The lamp was the second most expensive lamp in the Artimeta catalogue. Material: chrome with black base and white acrylic shade. Wall lamp Schelpdier (Shellfish) by Piet Cohen for Raak 1970s

Raak shellfish (schelpdier, model 1608.16) designed by Piet Cohen for Raak, Amsterdam in the 1970s. Particularly beautiful wall lamp, in which the light crawls out of its shell; an exotic crustacean made of cast aluminium with concentrically inside it a second shell behind which the light crawls. Because the shells are not the same size, a beautiful light effect is created. The condition of this wall lamp is still in very good condition considering its age (see photos). Architect’s chairs by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel, 1960s – Set of Three with Grey Ring

Industrial bar stools by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for Ahrend De Cirkel in the 1960s. These originally architect’s chairs have a metal base and a wooden seat and back (made of birch plywood). The seat is adjustable in height by means of a rotary knob and the backrest is also adjustable. They were originally designed as a drawing table chair or work chair hence they are a bit higher than normal chairs and also have an adjustable footrest (grey ring), which is why they are also often used as bar stools nowadays. Each chair is marked with: Ahrend the Circle. The condition is still good; very sturdy and solid with normal wear from use. Material: metal, chromed metal and birch plywood. Dimensions: h x w x d = 109 x 49.5 x 49 cm. The seat height is adjustable from 56.5 to 71.5 cm and the seat width is 39 cm. The price is for the set of three chairs. Also available individually.
