Wire Cone Table with Two Wire Cone Chairs by Verner PANTON for Fritz Hansen, 1988
Wire Cone table with two wire Cone chairs designed by Verner Panton in the fifties and made for Fritz Hansen in the eighties. Originally Verner Panton (1926-1998) designed this Tüten-Stuhl (Cone Chair) and table for the Kom-iGen Inn restaurant in 1959. The design of this restaurant “Kom-iGen Inn” is one of his first major assignments. The resident of this popular restaurant in the heart of the Langeso-Park was Panton’s father. In 1988 Panton designed this set again with an technical improved form and slightly different measurements (oval transverse cross-section) on a round flat base manufactured by Fritz Hansen. Verner Panton is considered one of Denmark’s most influential 20th-century furniture and interior designers. The price is for the two chairs and the table. Colour: Black.
