Rob Parry, who was a student and employee of Gerrit Rietveld, is known for his innovative Dutch design. This model is a wonderful example of functional and progressive design from the 1950s. The chair has the original black skai upholstery in very good condition, combined with a sturdy metal frame. The dimensions are h x w x d = 82 x 67 x 51 cm, with a seat height of 47 cm. documented in the book Rob Parry (cover & page 134) and in Ons Huis 1958, pages 1473-1474. Collectors item (documentation present of purchase).
This unique design object is approximately 70 years old and is in very good original condition, with minimal signs of use (see photos).
