Dutch highboard designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Webé in the 60s with two cabinets, a desk, small bar and four drawers. The style of Louis van Teeffelen is recognized by the shape of the handles and legs. Considering its age, this teak wooden cabinet is still in very good condition. Two flaws; a small dent and a missing piece of veneer (see pictures).
Wébé is a Dutch company from Beneden – Leeuwen (Gelderland near Tiel), founded in 1938. The Webe name is an abbreviation of two families, Walraven & Bevers. These two families got together in 1938 and then founded the furniture company Wébé. Louis Teeffelen was one of the most important designers who worked at the furniture factory.
