Very Rare Ettore Sottsass Olivetti Synthesis Desk Chair with armrests designed by Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007) in 1973 for Olivetti. This chair has a beautiful oxblood red color also know as the Memphis color. The seat height is adjustable from 40-51 cm and 59 cm wide. Material: ABS plastic and metal. Marked: Olivetti Synthesis. This chair is also in the collection of MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Ettore Sottsass started working in 1958 as design consultant for Olivetti. He designed several well-known products, including this Italian desk chair from the Synthesis series designed in 1973 and the wel-known red type writer.
