F.L. Vollemans & Zonen

F.L. Vollemans & Zonen N.V. was a Rotterdam-based company specialising in products and interior fittings for the barber and hairdressing trade. From around 1913, the firm supplied professional equipment and furnishings for use in barbershops and hair salons.

The company was initially located at the Gedempte Binnenrotte 137 in Rotterdam and later moved to the Groothandelsgebouw on the Weena, next to Rotterdam Central Station. There, F.L. Vollemans & Zonen operated a large showroom with an extensive assortment of approximately 30,000 items. The firm was well known for both the distribution and manufacture of grooming products and professional salon equipment, with a clear focus on the barbering and hairdressing industry.
