Raak Chartres Wall Lamp
Raak Chartres wall lamp designed by Willem van Oyen for the Dutch lighting company Raak in the 60s. Chartres: As church windows stained, so these glass sculptures made of glass. On a base of reinforced glass is colour glass melted. No two sculptures are the same, but they are all vital if a painting from the Cobra school. Sometimes there is some confusion about the designer of this lamp but Willem van Oyen designed this lamp for Raak and Architect A. Lankhorst used these lamp for wall decoration and lighting in restaurant Dijkstra in Zwolle. Considering its age, this wall lamp is still in very good condition.
