Three-seat Sofa by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp, 1960s
Rare three-seat sofa designed by Aksel Bender Madsen for the Dutch furniture company Bovenkamp, 1960s. This Bovenkamp sofa is very fine and beautifully made with teak armrests (see photos). This is a special edition where the armrests flow organically into the backrest. This beautiful timeless sofa has been reupholstered once and still in very good condition; one small stain on the back near the armrest (see pictures). The filling is good, and the fabric is quite neat, cleaned and impregnated again. The wood joints of the teak frame are fully checked and the frame has been oiled (see photos). Colour: Upholstery mottled beige / white. The set is marked: Bovenkamp (see photo). Measurements: h x w x d = 88 x 168 x 75 cm. The seat height is 44 cm and the seat depth is 47 cm.
