Men’s Armchair by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp, 1960s
Rare men’s armchair designed by Aksel Bender Madsen for the Dutch furniture company Bovenkamp, 1960s. This chair is very fine and beautifully made with teak armrests (see photos). This is a special edition where the armrests flow organically into the backrest. This beautiful timeless chair has also great comfort. This armchair has been reupholstered once. Considering its age of this chair is still in very good condition, the filling is good, and the fabric is quite neat, cleaned and impregnated again. The wood joints of the teak frame are fully checked and the frame has been oiled (see photos). Colour: Upholstery mottled beige / white. The set is marked: Bovenkamp (see photo). Measurements: H x W x D = 106 x 69 x 80 cm. The seat height is 44 cm and the seat depth is 47 cm.
