Ladies Armchair by Aksel Bender Madsen for Bovenkamp, 1960s
Ladies armchair designed by Aksel Bender Madsen for the Dutch furniture company Bovenkamp, 1960s. This chair is very fine and beautifully made with teak armrests (see photos). This is a special edition where the armrests flow organically into the backrest. This beautiful timeless Bovenkamp chair has been reupholstered once. Considering its age of this chair it is still in very good condition, the filling is good, and the fabric is quite neat, cleaned and impregnated again. The wood joints of the teak frame are fully checked and the frame has been oiled (see photos). Colour: Upholstery mottled beige / white. The set is marked: Bovenkamp (see photo). Dimensions: Ladies armchair H x W x D = 90 x 66 x 75 cm. Seat height 44 cm and depth is 47 cm.
