RAAK Shellfish Sconce by Piet Cohen, 1970s – Brown
Brown RAAK shellfish wall lamp designed by Piet Cohen for RAAK in the 1972. Particularly beautiful wall lamp in which the light creeps out of his shell. An exotic crustacean of cast aluminium; concentrically inside a second shell behind which the light creeps. Think of installation in a row in long corridors. A design that floats up from the wall. Because the shells are not the same size, a nice light effect will be created. Considering its age this lamp is still in very good condition, normal traces of usage (see pictures). Normal crew bulb holder E27 / Max 75 W. Dimensions: H x W x D = 36 x 16,5 x 14,5 cm. Source: RAAK List 9 page 7.
