Industrial Adjustable Office Chair ca. 1960
Gray ergonomic industrial office chair problably made at the company Okamura, Tokyo (Japan) in ca. 1961. With the goal of creating a better chair, they incorporated scientific knowledge into our development in 1961. The result was the Type-22, our first chair created by applying ergonomic principles. The seat can swivel, has wheels and the back seat can bend. This chair is also adjustable in height by a knob under the seat. Dimensions: H x W x D = 83 x 40 x 47 cm, the seat height is = 45 cm (adjustable). Material: iron and leatherette. Color: gray and chrome. Condition: very good, wear consistent with age and use; the bakelite knob under the seat, a small piece is broken, missing (see photos).
