Vintage pinewood wall unit designed by Nisse Strinning for String Design AB in 1949. This is an original old system from 1962 and made in pine veneer. In 1954 this model (String) won a gold medal at the Triennale in Milan.
This wall system consists of: 8 white metal short side brackets, 4 white metal long side brackets, a magazine rack, six long narrow shelfs (20 x 78 cm), two long wide shelfs (30 x 78 cm), a short narrow shelf (20 x 58 cm), a short wide shelf (30 x 58 cm), a deep cabinet with sliding doors (HxWxD 42 x 78 x 34 cm), a deep cabinet with 5 drawers (42 x 78 x 34 cm) and a shallow cabinet with sliding doors white (42 x 78 x 20 cm). Given the age of this vintage wall system it is still in original and very good condition (see pictures). The dimensions are 218 (width) by 196 cm (height). The height of the system itself is 177 cm.
